Marriage should come first.This was Primetime Queen Marian Rivera’s answer to Startalk host Lolit Solis’ question on whether Marian sees herself and Dingdong in the same situation next year as fellow showbiz power couple Richard Gutierrez and Sarah Lahbati who recently admitted to the public that they have a one-year-old son, Zion.
“Siyempre po, ‘Nay (referring to Lolit Solis), probinsyana ako. Gusto ko talaga ikasal muna bago magkaanak,” she said.
But she was quick to add, “Pero hindi ko alam kung ibibigay sa akin ng Diyos na mauna muna ang anak bago ikasal. Why not?”
She confessed that Dingdong has been longing to have a baby and is envious of showbiz friends who are already enjoying fatherhood. Marian herself admitted that she wants to have a dozen kids.
“E bakit hindi ibigay?” Lolit asked Marian.
“Sige po, ‘Nay,” Marian answered, laughing.
In an interview with Startalk’s Ricky Lo, Richard and Sarah said they want Marian and Dingdong to have a baby soon.
“Iyan ang pangarap namin for them -- na magka-baby na sila,” said Sarah.
“Tinutukso ko nga sila,” Richard also said.
In her interview with Lolit Solis, Marian also said she intends to make Dingdong a guest in her dance show, Marian, which will start airing on June 21. Dingdong used to be a member of an all-male dance group called Abztract Dancers.
On Marian’s pilot episode, the Primetime Queen will share the dance floor with Vilma Santos and Maricel Soriano.
“Para sa akin, isang pangarap din iyan na natupad,” she said.
