You will see a very daring Jackie Rice in her upcoming independent film, Sitio Kamkam.
She told Lhar Santiago of 24 Oras that the said film is one of her most unforgettable projects to date because it was through Sitio Kamkam that she did her first extremely passionate love scene.
Jackie plays the third wife of a small-time gambling lord in the film.
She said, “Noong una, parang ayoko rin, parang ayoko siyang tanggapin kasi kakaiba nga, ‘di ba? Kaya siguro dalawang tao na ‘yung tumanggi sa project.”
Jackie’s boyfriend of five years was on set when her love scene with co-star Kerbie Zamora was shot. The couple almost broke up because of the steamy sequence, but Jackie took it upon herself to talk to her boyfriend.
“[Sabi ko sa kanya,] trabaho lang. Gusto ko rin i-explore kung hanggang saan ang kaya ko bilang artista. Gusto ko matutunan kung ano ‘yung mundo talaga ng showbiz,” said Jackie.
After Sitio Kamkam’s Cinemalaya screening, Jackie will be taking a vacation in Japan with her boyfriend. She will also be flying to Europe alone, where she will be meeting her Innamorata co-star, Gwen Zamora.
Is she leaving the country because of the pregnancy rumors?
The mestiza actress vehemently denied the issue. She replied, “Hindi po ako buntis. Chika-chika lang talaga siya. Hindi po, ayoko pa. Hindi pa po ako ready maging mommy. Gusto ko tapusin muna ‘yung pagkadalaga ko.”
