The prestigious Gold Camera Awards were given to Brigada: Gintong Burak for the Television Documentary: Social Issues category and to Wagas: Mga Kuwento ng Totoong Pag-ibig for the Television: Docudrama category.

Wagas is also vying for Best of Festival-Documentary, one of the highest recognitions presented in the festival.

Three more GMA News TV programs captured Silver Screen Awards: Reel-Time: Dungkoy in Television: Documentary Biography; Reel Time: Silang Wala sa Mapa in Television: Documentary Health, Medical; and State of the Nation with Jessica Soho (Super Typhoon Yolanda Coverage) in Television Continuing News Stories.

GMA Network also took Silver Screen Awards for Front Row (“Ulilang Lubos”) in Television: Social Issues Documentary and for Reporter's Notebook ("Bakas ng Trahedya") in Television: Current Affairs Documentary.

A Certificate for Creative Excellence was given to Picture! Picture! in the Television: Game Show category.

Based in Los Angeles, the US International Film & Video Awards acknowledges creative excellence in Corporate, Education, Entertainment, Documentary and Student productions since 1967.

The Best of Festival winners will be announced week of June 16, 2014.

Last May, GMA News' special coverage on the assault and aftermath of super typhoon Yolanda earned for the Network its fourth George Foster Peabody Award.

GMA is the only news and public affairs organization in the country to have received the prestigious award for excellence in broadcast journalism.
